Going to and from Isla Verde, you have two options:
A. Join the public boat trip.
Trip time to Isla Verde: 9 AM. Boarding at 7 AM

B. Rent a private boat.
If you are leaving the island on your check-out date, we recommend hiring a private boat service from Isla Verde back to Batangas City. Here’s why:
Public Boats (Isla to Tabangao) departure time: 3 AM
There is only one public boat trip from Isla Verde to mainland Batangas City. It departs at approximately 5 AM from Mahabang Buhangin. Passengers in Sampalucan (where Engracio’s is located) must board at around 3 AM.
Your check-out time is at 10 AM.
To make the most of accommodation and to avoid waking up too early to catch the public boat trips, rent a private boat.

Our Isla Verde Beach Camping offer is Ideal for Groups of 20 Guests
A maximum of 20 guests can stay: 16 bed spaces at the bamboo cottages and 4 at the tents. In case of rain, ten occupants can use the tree house and the cottages’ verandah.
Workmates, Extended Families, Friends, this 300-square-meter property is just opposite the sea. We have 2 duplex bamboo cottages. Each has bunk beds, ensuite toilet and bath, and a seating area. In addition, there are tent pitching spaces, a tree playhouse, and a gazebo. Also, there’s a common bathroom that tent pitchers can use. Moreover, there is a semi-outdoor kitchen equipped with gas stove and cookware.

The Best in Isla Verde, Batangas: Our Off-the-Grid Services
Most parts of Isla Verde has no power and water facilities. But no worries! Here at Engracio’s we make it easier for you to have a convenient supply of freshwater and electricity. In other words, no need to fetch from the well or pay by the pail. As for electricity, we use gas-powered generator. It operates for up to 12 hours, depending on your accommodation type. Typically, it is on from 6 pm to 9 pm to let you recharge your electronic devices and to allow us to refill our water tanks.

Let’s start with a little bit of history.
Our beachfront family vacation home, built in 2014, was originally for the exclusive use of our family and close friends. Instead of building one big home, we chose to put up small cottages with space just enough for bed and bathroom.
This setup encourages us to spend time outdoors. There’s a gazebo and spaces for picnic tables to commune and enjoy chats and meals together.

The kitchen is also outdoors. Bring your favorite food and have fun cooking while listening to the humming birds and feeling the gentle summer breeze. The mango trees keep the whole place cool especially during the hot months.

We are at a quiet neighborhood of Barrio Sampalucan in San Agustin West, Verde Island, Batangas City.
Verde Island, or Isla Verde, as the locals call it, is one of the world’s best diving destinations. It has the highest concentration of shallow-water marine species, making it the global center of shore-fish biodiversity.
Sampalucan is known for mesmerizing sunset view, snorkeling, and swimming sites. It is also the gateway to Mt. Dagit-Dagit, our favorite hiking destination.
